Planned Respite Care

Planned Respite Care provides relief for caregivers and reduces the risk of family breakdown. Bookings are made through CPAS in advance of requested dates. Access to all Special Care Homes is through Client Patient Access Services (CPAS), which administers the admission criteria.

Call 306-655-4346 for more information.

Unplanned Respite Care

Unplanned Respite Care offers short-term respite (up to 7 days) and is suitable in cases of sudden, unexpected changes in the support system, requiring 24-hour supervision (e.g., primary caregiver hospitalized or called out of town).

For current rates and coverage of transportation and medication costs, please contact your Client Care Coordinator.
