All of Saskatoon’s mayoral candidates have been invited to attend. The intent is to learn more about the candidates’ views on the age-friendly community initiative in Saskatoon.
Our moderator will be Ken Pontikes, former Director of Planning and Development for the City of Saskatoon and former Deputy Minister of Municipal Government in Saskatchewan.
Each mayoral candidate will have five minutes for opening comments followed by a moderated question and answer period. Questions will be available to participants in advance and the moderator will not accept questions from the audience.
During a short break, audience members will be invited to submit written questions which will be organized and presented to the candidates. All candidates will have up to 2 minutes to respond to the questions. We anticipate there will be approximately 30 minutes allocated for audience questions.
Each mayoral candidates have been invited to be available to forum participants for a moderated speed networking between 4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.
