Free Programs

Saskatoon Council on Aging provides free programs for seniors that promote social participation, a key aspect of an age-friendly community. Program also support independence and connection with others that promote health and wellness.

SCOA TELEPHONE BUDDY PROGRAM – Partnering with a variety of community agencies, we match volunteers with older adults for friendly chats over the phone. To register for the program, phone 306.652.2255

SCOA GLOBE WALK – Fitness program for seniors; older adults keep motivated through the winter months by forming teams and staying active in monthly activities


SENIORS’ NEIGHBORHOOD HUB CLUBS
– Free monthly social club for seniors program in 4 locations: Socializing, entertainment, learning opportunities, games and fun. 


BUS BUDDY PROGRAM – a program to teach older adults how to use the transit system to enhance mobility and independence


CENTURY CLUB – Saskatoon Branch of the Club was formed for seniors who have reached the age of 90+ who are determined to live a full, active life to age 100 and beyond
