Seniors Neighbourhood Hub Clubs

Our Seniors Neighbourhood Hub Clubs initiative provides older adults (aged 55 and above) regular access to social activities in six different Saskatoon neighbourhoods. Our Hub Clubs are free to attend, making it easy for older adults to connect with like-minded individuals and enjoy the benefits of social participation, a vital component of creating an age-friendly community.

Mayfair Hub Club
Location: Mayfair United Church 902 33rd St. West - Free to attend, no registration required

Century Club

The SCOA Century Club is free for seniors who are 90 years and beyond, committed to living their lives to the fullest, with aspirations to reach and exceed the remarkable age of 100. The Century Club provides seniors in Saskatoon with a network of like-minded nonagenarians who value physical fitness, mental agility, social connections, and spiritual exploration.

The Century Club organises various engaging activities and events for its members throughout the year. These free activities are designed to promote active and fulfilling lifestyles among Saskatoon's senior community.

Become a Member of the Century Club

The Saskatoon Branch of the Saskatchewan Century Club now boasts a membership of over 200. Membership in this extraordinary club is entirely free and includes a complimentary copy of the "Gray Matters" publication.

Pen Pal Program

Our Pen Pal Program connects older adults and students for a delightful exchange of letters and cards. Share your hobbies, interests, stories, or anything at all, and enjoy learning more about the younger generation through the experience of your pen pal.

At SCOA, we believe that staying socially active is an important for healthy aging. We support social connection and participation by offering free programs to keep older adults engaged and socially connected.

Bus Buddy Program - See Experience Transit

The Experience Transit program teaches people how to use public transit safely, independently, using the fixed bus route and on-demand transit system in Saskatoon.
